Mission Statement

Inspires youth through free development and mentorship programs. We are dedicated to building resilience, promoting physical well-being, and teaching essential life skills to kiddos from diverse backgrounds. By removing barriers and using the joy of soccer as a unifying force, we provide opportunities for those who are often excluded.

Program Summary

Our goal is to empower youth with the skills and confidence to make positive life choices and become engaged, active members of their communities. We have served 411 kids in our first year.

We run 4 programs with a focus on holistic development for success both on and off the field: Competitive Soccer, Youth Development, Community Fitness, and Street Soccer. We host activities 3-times a week, emphasizing not only physical fitness but also mental well-being, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Additionally, we provide capstone opportunities for participants to compete at high levels in regional tournaments while prioritizing accessibility. By fostering inclusivity, we cultivate a diverse, supportive community within our programs.

Impact Statement

The 703 Warriors are dedicated to empowering youth in our community, with a strong focus on serving those facing socio-economic challenges. Through our partnership with Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) and APAH (now True Ground Housing Partners), we effectively reach children who stand to benefit the most from our programming. By targeting families whose children qualify for free or subsidized school lunch programs, we ensure that our life skills training and mentorship activities are accessible to those who need them the most.

What ways can the public get involved?

We invite members of the public to join us in our mission to empower and uplift youth in our community. There are several ways to get involved with the 703 Warriors. You can volunteer at our community events, where your assistance with check-in procedures will ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for participants. Additionally, we welcome volunteers to run educational activities for the kids during these events, providing valuable learning opportunities in areas such as health, fitness, and teamwork. For those passionate about soccer, we offer opportunities to volunteer as coaches, guiding and mentoring young athletes both on and off the field. Finally, donations are crucial to support our programming and community events, ensuring that they remain free and accessible to all participants. Your contributions enable us to continue making a positive impact on the lives of youth in our community.

Our goal is to equip these young participants with the tools and support necessary to overcome adversity and realize their full potential. Together with AHC and APAH, we create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported. Through these efforts, we aim to foster lasting positive change in the lives of our youth, helping them build brighter futures both for themselves and the broader community.

How are charitable dollars spent? Where does my donation go?

Every dollar donated goes directly towards supporting our core program initiatives, allowing us to focus on the youth we serve. With no paid employees or contractors, 100% of your contributions are used to directly fund youth development programs. This includes essential items like field reservations, equipment purchases, event registration fees, participation shirts, and medical supplies ensuring that every child has access to our comprehensive soccer and life skills programming.

As we continue to grow sustainably, some funds may be allocated to minimal overhead costs necessary to expand our reach, such as additional field reservations and capacity-building efforts. Currently, we face the challenge of scaling to meet the high demand in our community, as we’ve had to cap registrations and turn away families eager to participate. Your support will help us eliminate these bottlenecks, build capacity, and ensure no child is left out.
