Between 2021 and 2023, Arlington’s Guarantee provided 200 households $500 per month with no strings attached for 18 months. The majority of participant households were in the County Housing Grants program who were making 30% AMI or below and who had children under 18, with special carve-out samples for 25 individuals re-entering the community after incarceration and 25 undocumented heads of households.

This new report provides a comprehensive overview of the pilot design, evaluation findings, and next steps in the guaranteed income movement. For a brief overview, read the report’s Executive Summary here.

On February 8, 2024, Arlington Community Foundation (ACF) hosted the webinar “Arlington’s Guarantee Results & Wrap-up” featuring panelists from Arlington County DHS, Kresge Foundation, and ACF, as well as short videos from pilot participants. Watch the webinar recording here.
