Brian Marroquín
Director of Grants and Initiatives
Brian Marroquín is the Director of Grants and Initiatives at the Arlington Community Foundation. Previously, Brian served as a Senior Director at LIFT, a national nonprofit that advances the economic mobility of working families. While there, Brian designed LIFT’s financial and career coaching model, which was selected as a demonstration project by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is now used in national trainings for Head Start.
Brian has experience in social services, serving as a caseworker, resource center director, and trainer. He has served as chair of Arlington County’s Social Services Advisory Board (SSAB) and of Advance Arlington. He earned a bachelors from VCU and a masters in policy management from Georgetown University.
