Arlington Community Foundation works with advisors and donors to help them better our community. The advantage of a community foundation is that it can pool resources and provide even greater assistance. We can also provide tax advantages and secure accountability on all gifts.
Consider the Foundation a “one-stop shop” offering vetted, cutting-edge solutions to assist clients in achieving their charitable goals in a tax-friendly and efficient way.
We support advisors with all types of legal and financial events that are motivating their clients to consider charity such as the sale of a business, estate planning, and non-cash asset contributions. Whether the client is working on their estate plan and have charitable interests or have a financial event that is motivating them to seek out charitable tax deductions, the Foundation is here to help.
Help your client create a lasting legacy of giving. Your client may choose any name for their fund. Grants awarded will always be recorded in that name, a lasting symbol of your client’s interest and concern.
Should your client desire anonymity, the Foundation will protect your client’s identity.
Your client’s gift benefits the community in perpetuity. Your client can leave a bequest in their will that becomes a lasting symbol of their interests and concerns. Making a bequest in a will or revocable living trust to the Arlington Community Foundation is a simple way for your clients to donate and it can also help to reduce inheritance taxes.
Arlington Community Foundation manages more than 220 individual funds representing about $30 million in total assets.
