Commerce Banks a Win!
Virginia Commerce Bank took the honors at the Foundation’s 7th Annual
Golf Tournament held this year at Washington Golf and Country Club.
Says Tournament Chair Steve Caruthers, "It was a great day for golf
and a great opportunity to support the Foundation! There were over 100
participants and we raised more than $60,000--a new record--to support
our grants and scholarship programs."
Playing on the Virginia Commerce winning team were Peter Converse, Randy
Anderson, Barry Chamberlin and Mark Siciliano. Second place went to
the Buck & Associates Team of Bill Buck, Billy Buck, Phil D'Angio
and Bernard Clineburg. Placing a respectable third was David Stephens,
Jim Wills, Mike Holupka, and Jim Anderson of The First Virginia Bank
team.
Taking Nearest to Pin in Men’s was Eric Sievers; Longest Drive in Men’s
went to Jay O' Brien. Women’s Nearest to Pin went to Lynn Fueschal;
and Women’s Longest Drive to Pam Murray.
